TU Dublin’s BA Interior Design programme – formerly known as Interior and Furniture Design – marks over 40 years of excellence in cultivating Ireland’s top interior design talent. The programme’s alumni have risen to senior positions in respected firms such as Mola, O’Donnell O’Neill, Millimeter and W2W, reflecting its long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.

This success is further enhanced by a robust partnership with IWIN, which has actively supported and promoted TU Dublin’s interior and furniture design graduates since 2021. Inspired by Bill Vernon’s enthusiasm, the programme first showcased its furniture-focused projects on the IWIN stand at the IFHS event in Blanchardstown in August 2022. Riding this wave, TU Dublin now maintains a dedicated stand at IFHS, providing a vital shop window for graduates to connect with potential employers and gain insight into the furniture sales and design industry.

In 2023, in collaboration with IWIN, TU Dublin introduced the Bill Vernon Awards. Judged by a distinguished panel including Gareth Sherry, Joe Friel of Wood Connect, Enda McGonigle of Sofa Source, and Sean Phillips of OVVO, the awards celebrate innovation and commercial potential, providing graduates feedback for their creativity.
